HURT LIVE 1977 VERSION A JERRY SCHEFF STYLE BASS LINE
Please use headphones for best audio....As always tracks have no bass.......This track I think has an awesome and pretty tricky bass line....Its basically based around the d major and playing the triads to the chords in D...but he also puts in the 2nd in each triad do d would be d/e/f#/a and so on, so in every chord theres the 2nd...playing this smoothly is the tricky bit, there is also a sneaky Cm towards the end. The drum rolls, I always use my fingers like a pick, also handy for the big endings too.i keep the tone wide open (if you listen to the track you can hear all the fret movements etc...which probably means Jerry had the tone control wide open too...but you do that as you do...anyways I hope it helps...Rich...
