The guitarist has collaborated with a number of jazz musicians from various countries, as well as Chamber Orchestras, Choirs, Big Bands, and composers of contemporary academic music. As a band leader he released two CDs in the Netherlands, his second CD Centrifuge came out in 2016. Since 2014, Pranas has been a member of the contemporary music ensemble "Synaesthesis". Currently, as the band leader and composer he has his own project "Broken Glass 4tet" and is a sideman of various Lithuanian jazz oriented projects, such as “Reinless”, “Lithuanian Jjazz Ensemble” and “Rokas Jaunius Septet”. In addition to performing activities Pranas Kentra had been a long time teacher at Kaunas Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy and Juozas Gruodis Conservatoire. Since 2016, he has been working as a guitar, rhythm class and ensemble teacher at Vilnius College - University of Applied Sciences. He is currently the Head of Rhythmic Music department at Vilnius College.
