Extend Brexit says former Tory Minister!
Here we go again, yet more demands we extend the Brexit talks. Now we have another pro-EU politician pushing for a Brexit extension. Do you remember David Lidington, former Tory MP for Aylesbury and once the Cabinet Minister and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and therefore Theresa May’s de facto deputy when she was PM? Well, he was talking to the Dutch evening newspaper, NRC Handelsblad, and said that the UK should extend the Brexit Implementation Period beyond the 31st of December. And that’s either a naive position to take, stupidity, or worse.
