The TCEC S13 Superfinal match between Stockfish and Komodo has now come to an end and as expected, Stockfish was undoubtedly the winner of this championship. With 100 games and with 50 different openings being tested, Stockfish cruised through this competition just as he did during Season 12. But having gone for this type of game and using a 4 move opening book, Stockfish went for the craziest of Chess openings you would probably see. Being very confident, Stockfish deployed the King’s Knight Gambit, a Gambit where the Knight is sacrificed as early as move 6.
