1939 Chevrolet Dually If you don't mind standing out from the crowd then this is the classic you need to be cruising around in. This 1939 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton dually is one of those lost classics you rarely get the opportunity to see and an even less chance to purchase. The truck has an extremely cool look and needs very little to be considered complete. It has already been restored most of the way and despite not being finish is certainly not some sort of project car. For very few dollars and just a little work it could be one of the coolest things on the road. It isn't everyday you can purchase a steel body restored 30s classic for under 20K so jump at this opportunity while its still available because it definitely won't last long. The body is entirely rust free and has been coated with brand new Tangelo Orange Pearl House of Colors paint. Picasso of Ft Worth did the spraying and the paint has a beautiful finish and is packed with pearl. There is no bed currently in place but as you can see the frame rails and entire undercarriage have been finished out just as nice as the body. Every component on the truck has been cleanly painted or powder coated. The headlight buckets are in place but headlights need to be installed. The only other features that need to be finished is wiring up the rear lights, adding a bed, and covering the headliner. That being said the lights are the only necessary feature needed to start showing it off. Getting this truck rolling is the new 350 crate motor under the hood that has only been driven ~3000 miles. It runs extremely well as you would expect a fresh engine to run. A polished manifold was added as well as finned valve covers and a matching air cleaner for a nice show ready look. The entire engine compartment was painted to match the body. Backing the motor is a 4 speed automatic 700R4 transmission that is also brand new. Other components worth mentioning include the 1946 Ford rear end, 1941 Ford front end, new brakes (disc in front) and new suspension. From the mechanics to the overall look this truck won't disappoint. The interior is complete in white and everything has been done except for the headliner which is currently painted black. The upholstery work nicely covers the large bench seat which sits nicely in place. The dash is all painted to match and is topped with aftermarket Autometer gauges. The original woodgrain flooring is in place which is a nice nostalgic feature you just wouldn't want to do away with. To the floor is mounted the Lokar shifter and hand brake. This is a cool pickup that will draw attention wherever it goes. music by bensound - http://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music
