Micho Dimitrov (violin) Studied with Todor Katsarev and Tatjana Krasteva. Graduated High School of Music - Plovdiv (1974) and P. Vladigerov State Academy of Music in the violin class of Prof. Boyan Lechev and chamber music with Prof. Vladimir Avramov with Master class 1978- 1980. Specialized at the Guildhall Schol of Music and Drama in London under Prof. Yfrah Nieman, a part-time violin and chamber music teacher at Richmond College (1981- 1983). He completes his specialization at the Academy with the highest award Concert Recital Diploma. When 10 years old - first prize for young violin players Jan Kocian Competition -- Czech Rep. 1978 - Finalist at the Tchaikovsky Competition -- Moscou 1979 - Special Prize at the Kreisler Competition -- Vienna 1982 - Alfred Gibbson Memorial Prize -- London 1982 - Mayra Hess Foundation Prize -- London Violeta Popova (piano) Graduated from P. Vladigerov State Music Academy in the piano class of Prof. P. Pelishek, she specialized chamber music and piano accompaniment at the Moscow Conservatory. Throughout the years of her concert activity the instrumentalist has given numerous concerts together with eminent Bulgarian and foreign soloists in Russia, Serbia, Slovakia. Poland, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Holland. The pianist has been awarded with prizes for the best piano accompaniment at the competitions P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow, J.S.Bach in Leipzig, L. Spohr in Freiburg. Together with other musicians she has many recordings for the Bulgarian National Radio and one CD. Violeta Popova is a lecturer at the P. Vladigerov State Music Academy.
